Remove Program from Windows XP Startup to Improve Speed of the System



Most of the time people facing slow boot time for the windows XP operating system although there system memory and processor are powerful enough to load windows XP in few second. if you don’t have virus in your system then the problem will be too many programs are in startup of windows XP. In this case surely you will face slow window booting time because al Windows try to load all your programs in memory. This tutorial will teach you how to remove programs form the Windows XP startup.

STEPS

  • Start Menu -> Run ->  Type msconfig

  • Press OK >  System Configuration Utility Dialog will appears

  • Click on Startup tab

  • All the services running in startup will be shown in the startup Items with Checked marked. If you want to disable the program in startup uncheck the item from startup item list.

In this case I disable four programs for the startup, press ok setting will saved. Now whenever you will boot you system again it will load faster then before and the programs unchecked will not be there.
