If you are a flock user like me and you surf websites all the time then perhaps you run into the flock performance issue. On my computer flock consumes about 1GB RAM which is quite ridiculous. After searching alot I finally found that its Lucene (search engine) which causes memory leak as well as nasty errors.
To solve this issue follow simple steps
1) Type this in flock address bar about:config, (You will get warning, just say yes to it, you will not mess any thing)
2) Copy and paste this “flock.service.indexer.enabled” without quotes in the filter field
3) Double click on flock.service.indexer.enabled option to set it to false
4) Close flock
Optional steps to cleanup lucene history (You must have flock closed)
1) Wait until flock closed properly. Click on start and then run, type %APPDATA%
2) Find the flock folder and there you will see browser folder open it
3) Open profiles folder, there you will see a profile folder like this z221n7p1k.default (the name is different on each computer) open this folder
5) Find the lucene folder and delete all files inside that folder.
Thats it!
