The Word document which contain confidential information such as customers information, tender and others required security to restrict the access to other users willing to open the information to extract the information. In this tutorials I will discuss the procedure to secure the Word document by applying password on it. After this tutorials you are able to secure you confidential documents from anonymous users.
Click the office on top and then click Save As
In Save as Dialog box click on tools and then select General Options from Menu
The General Options Dialog Box will appear, Enter the password in the provided text box
Select or Clear the Read only checkbox and then Click Ok.
