Changing Wallpapers in Windows XP



What is Wallpapers?

Wallpaper is the image which can always be seen on desktop, any image can be used as wallpaper in windows XP. Windows XP provide some of default XP wallpaper which is quite interactive other than that you can browse image from the location where the image are available and use it as a wallpaper on desktop.

By default XP use wallpaper which is shown in the screen shot below.

To change the default XP wallpaper to the wallpaper of your choice follow the step given below.

Right Click > Select Properties from Menu

Click Properties> Display properties dialog will appear

Select Desktop Tab > Display properties dialog appears

Select Wallpaper from List Box> View can be seen

Press Apply button> Press OK

Hurray! Now you can change the wallpaper in windows XP.

Browse Wallpaper From Folder

Now I teach you how to use your favorite picture as a wallpaper in windows XP.

Right Click on desktop > display properties > Desktop Tab

Click browse button on right > Browse Dialog Appear

My picture is the default folder for the images, all the default XP images are available in this folder.

To change the location, use drop down list.

Select location of pictures

F drive > wallpapers folder > Computer folder > select image > Click open

Now you can see the view in the dialog

Click Apply > Click OK
