Disable CD Autorun in Windows XP

Whenever Windows XP user enter cd it automatically open a dialog box,this is because of autorun feature. If you don’t like the autorun feature in Windows XP then there is a way to disable this option.
Following are the steps to disable Autorun in Windows XP.
STEP 1
1) Click Start, Run and enter GPEDIT.MSC
STEP 2
2) Go to Computer Configuration, Administrative Templates, System.
STEP 3
3) Locate the entry for Turn autoplay off and modify it as you desire.
